GLENDALE, Ariz. — It is required by federal law — or perhaps it’s just NFL rules — to caution that preseason success does not guarantee a trip to the Super Bowl.
After the Detroit Lions went a perfect 4-0 last preseason, they went a perfectly imperfect 0-16 in the regular season — proving that winning these meaningless games won’t even guarantee a regular-season victory. Read the full story

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Green Bay starting wide receiver Greg Jennings, who left Friday night’s game at Arizona early in the first quarter after taking a blow to the head, said he suffered a concussion, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
“Got hit, got a concussion,” Jennings told the newspaper on his way out of the locker room. “But I’m good now.” Read the full story

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Packers are partnering with the Wisconsin Lottery, taking advantage of an NFL decision allowing teams to associate with state-run lotteries.
Packers logos will be featured on a $10 scratch-off game with a top instant prize of $50,000. Fans also can win Packers-themed prizes, including four club seats to all home games for the 2010-12 seasons. Read the full story
